Philadelphia region to host Men's Rugby Playoffs in April

Media Rugby Football Club will host the Mid Atlantic Rugby Football Union (MARFU) Division I rugby playoffs the weekend of April 26th and 27th.

Bridgeport, PA April 1st, 2008: Media Rugby Football club a premier Division 1 powerhouse rugby club will host the Mid Atlantic Championships April 26th and 27th in Bridgeport PA. The action start Saturday the 26th with games at 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM followed by a consolation bracket Sunday the 27th at 11:00 AM and the Marfu Championship game @ 2:00 PM. All four teams will advance to the USA Round of 16 National Playoffs in Austin TX on May 17 - 18. The Region 4 Playoffs/Championship will crown the best D-1 club from region 4 which spans teams from Virginia to Maine. It will also determine the seating for the upcoming USA National playoffs. All games will be played at Chiccino Athletic Field at 6th and Merion St., Bridgeport, PA.

There will be food and refreshments available at the concession stand both days.

Mid Atlantic Rugby Football Union Championships
Saturday April 26th games commencing @ 1:00 PM.
Sunday April 27th games commencing @ 11:00 AM.

All games will be played at Chiccino Athletic Field at 6th and Merion St., Bridgeport, PA.
